On reading Kafka on the Shore

Just finished reading Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami.

It's been a long time since I was so profoundly affected by
reading a novel, I just had to write about it. Not since high
school, when I think about it. All my other "favorites" over
the years, like Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco, Cat's
Eye by Margaret Atwood, and the trilogy by Louis de
Bernieres has moved me quite this much. It almost feels fated.

I'm still reeling from the weight of the whole experience to
be able to write anything coherent. Just that it affected me
so much on so many different levels.
